Frequently Asked Questions

How can I begin tattoo removal process?

Please call 562-945-9111 to schedule an in person intake appointment. At the appointment, we will assess the tattoo(s) that you would like to remove and you can begin treatment on the same day. We do ask for patience in returning any messages, calls, emails as we do get hundreds of communications and our staff of volunteers return all contact 1 week prior to our clinics.

What are your fees for tattoo removal?

There is a one time intake fee of $30. Our fees for tattoos are based on your financial status and your ability to cover a set fee each time that you get treated. We do not require proof of income, nor ID. We take into consideration your family size, income and that the fee does not impact your financial and personal/family responsibilities. There are no refunds for any services rendered.

Does tattoo removal hurt?

Tattoo removal does hurt and most clients compare the pain to rubber bands smacking your skin. For some it’s managable and for others, it’s too painful. We do have numbing cream available for sale at $35 per tube, which the cream does make the pain minimal and we have even heard from clients that no pain was felt. The tube is 4 ounces and can last you several sessions, but also depends how much cream you will use and the size of your treated area. We require 90 minutes for the cream to take effect before you get treated.

I wont make it to the appointment. What can I do?

If you need to cancel, please let us know 24 hours in advance. There is a $30.00 fee for NOT attending scheduled appointment.

What days are you open for service

We open every 2nd weekend of the month and the immediate Tuesday that follows that weekend. Our Saturday schedule is from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm; Sunday schedule is from 10:00am to 5:00 pm: Tuesday schedule is from 4:00pm to 9:00 pm. You can go to our CALENDAR section and see the dates for the rest of the year.

how many sessions do i need to remove my tattoo

Each tattoo removal is different in multiple ways. There are many factors to consider when treating a tattoo. We estimate 6-8 sessions to see a difference and at times it can be less. Considering how old the ink is, was it home made or professional, how heavy the tattoo artists’ hand was, the type of ink used, are all factors.
